There are many types of Yoga. We tend to say that the right kind for the trainee is what the trainer can adapt to the trainee’s needs rather than the one to which each trainee must adapt. For this reason the outcome will not only be dynamic but also therapeutic.
In our studio ‘Holistic Life’ Yoga is mainly therapeutic. That means it is adaptable in order to fit each and everyone’s needs, in spite of age or fitness status. The basis of therapeutic Yoga is Hatha and in our place it is combined with Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
Additionally, Holistic Life yoga instructors are fully trained in yoga for pregnant women. The poses of the method are carefully adjusted for pregnant women to help in all stages of pregnancy and, of course, to restore the body to the former post-natal condition.
Yoga at our place can be done in individual, diatomic or triatomic groups and of course in a group of four to six people.
The small group teams are consistent with Holistic Life’s philosophy, as security and personalization can only exist in small groups where the trainer checks, coaches and corrects the trainee if necessary.
